Sheila Campbell Murphy is of counsel to the firm with over 35 years of experience
in ERISA and employee benefit plans. She
was formerly a senior consultant in the
Legal/Compliance Unit of Mercer Human
Resource Consulting’s retirement
practice group. Sheila had prior positions
as a senior attorney in tax, estate planning
and ERISA with a general practice law
firm in Worcester and as corporate benefits
director for a multi-billion dollar national
retailer with over 60,000 employees.
Sheila’s practice focuses on qualified
retirement programs, including correcting
document and operational errors via Department
of Labor and Internal Revenue Service
programs and the resolution of complex
issues. She also has extensive experience
in the plan termination process for both
defined contribution and defined benefit
plans, including the termination of plans
of employers in bankruptcy.
